KPop Demon Hunters Toys Resale Value: Which Dolls Are Worth Money
Most KPop Demon Hunters toys are worth exactly what they cost: the Mattel fashion dolls retail at about $27 and the singing dolls at about $32, and that's what they sell for second-hand too. The exception is Rumi. Both Rumi dolls sold out everywhere and resell for $50 to $100 or more, because Mattel made fewer of the lead character than of Mira and Zoey. Here's what each toy sells for now, which ones might hold value, and why most of them won't.
What the toys are
KPop Demon Hunters was the biggest film of 2025 on Netflix and the second most-searched movie of the year in the US, so the toy line arrived to enormous demand. The main products:
- Mattel "How It's Done" fashion dolls: Rumi, Mira, Zoey (the HUNTR/X trio) and Jinu from the Saja Boys. About $27 each.
- Mattel "Golden" singing dolls: Rumi, Mira and Zoey, which play the song. About $32 each.
- Rumi Deluxe Battle doll with sword, about $54.
- Squishmallows and plush of the characters and the tiger Derpy, sold at retail and in blind boxes.
- Funko Pops, figures and merch across the usual licensees.
What's actually worth something
The Rumi dolls. Both the fashion doll and the singing doll sold out at Amazon, Target and Walmart within weeks and have been resale-only since. Third-party prices run from about $50 up, with sealed examples listed at $80 to $100 and the Deluxe Battle version higher. This is a supply problem, not a limited edition: Mattel made Rumi in the same case ratio as the others, and demand for the lead character was higher. A restock is likely, and when it comes, resale prices will drop back toward retail.
Derpy plush and the tiger Squishmallows. The sidekick characters sold out at various points, and the rarer Squishmallow sizes resell above retail. Blind-box plush add the usual chase-figure premium for the one in the set that's hardest to pull.
First-wave packaging. If the line runs for years, first-release dolls in unopened original packaging will be the ones collectors want, the way first-wave Monster High and Bratz dolls are now. That's a bet on the franchise lasting, not a sure thing.
What isn't worth more than retail
Mira, Zoey and Jinu dolls are in stock everywhere at retail, and second-hand copies sell for retail or less. Opened dolls, played-with plush and anything without its box sell for a few dollars to $15. The Funko Pops are mass-produced and follow the normal Funko pattern: worth retail until a particular one is discontinued, then up, then usually back down.
Will they be valuable later?
The honest answer is probably not, with a few exceptions. The film's popularity means Mattel will make as many dolls as people will buy, and the toys that go up in value are the ones that are scarce for years, not weeks. For comparison, the Labubu market is driven by genuinely limited runs and chase rates; the Beanie Babies market collapsed because Ty made millions of everything. KPop Demon Hunters toys are closer to the second case.
What could hold value: sealed first-wave Rumi dolls if the restock never fully catches up, any production errors or variants that collectors identify later, and the rarest plush sizes. Keep those boxed and dry and check back in a few years.
How to check what you have
- Identify the exact product: fashion doll vs singing doll vs deluxe, and the character.
- Note whether it's sealed.
- Search the exact name on eBay and filter to Sold items. For Rumi, compare sealed to opened; for the others, expect retail.

Common questions
Why is the Rumi doll so expensive?
Both Rumi dolls sold out at major retailers and are resale-only, so third-party sellers charge $50 to $100 or more. Mattel made Rumi in the same numbers as the other characters, but she's the lead, so demand was higher. A restock would bring prices down.
Are KPop Demon Hunters toys going to be collectible?
Most won't be, because they're being made in large numbers. Sealed first-release Rumi dolls, rare plush sizes and any production variants are the likeliest to hold value, but that's a long-term bet.
How much is a KPop Demon Hunters Squishmallow worth?
Standard sizes sell at retail, about $15 to $30 depending on size. Sold-out characters and the largest sizes resell for more. Blind-box chase figures carry the usual premium.
Should I buy a Rumi doll now or wait?
If you want one to play with or display, wait for the restock. If you're buying as an investment, remember that a toy from a hit franchise is rarely scarce for long.
